Delete Your Account
Last updated: 9 August 2026 · Habit Club · Developer: Mehmet Taha Uyar
This page explains how to permanently delete your account and data in Habit Club (package name com.intibahtech.habitclub).
Option 1 — From inside the app (recommended, immediate)
- Open Habit Club and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top right.
- Scroll down and tap Permanently Delete Account.
- Read the warning and confirm.
Deletion happens immediately and is irreversible. You will be signed out once it completes.
Option 2 — If you removed the app or cannot sign in
Send an email titled "Account Deletion Request" to mehmettahauyarr@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account. After verifying your identity we process the request within 30 days at the latest — usually within a few business days — and send you a confirmation email.
Deleting some of your data without deleting your account
If you don't want to close your account and only want specific data removed, you can do it yourself inside the app:
- Delete a task and all of its completion records — long-press the task on the dashboard and delete it.
- Delete a room you created, along with its tasks and messages — room settings → Delete room.
- Leave a room — room settings → Leave room. Your membership and your contributions in that room are removed.
- Clear or change your profile information — bio, social links and profile photo can be changed under Profile → Edit.
If there is data you cannot remove yourself (for example a specific message you posted in a room chat), send an email titled "Partial Data Deletion Request" to mehmettahauyarr@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, stating which data you want deleted. We process such requests within 30 days at the latest. Your account stays open and only the data you specified is deleted; deleted records disappear from technical backups within 30 days at the latest.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following:
- Your account and sign-in credentials (email, password, Google/Apple link)
- Your profile: name, username, bio, social links
- Images you uploaded: your profile photo and cover images of rooms you created
- Your personal tasks and every task completion record
- Your points, streak, level, badges and tree progress
- Your room memberships, join requests and invitations
- Messages you posted in room chats and reactions you gave
- Your push tokens and notification preferences
- Your blocked-users list
- Reports you filed about other users
- Rooms you created — see the warning below
Rooms you created are deleted too. When you delete your account, any room you created is removed in full — together with its tasks, messages and completion records — even if it still has other members. If you want a room to survive, talk to its members about starting a new one before you delete your account.
Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account. You must use one of the two options above to have your data removed.
What is retained, and for how long
- Reports filed about you: retained for 12 months to prevent repeat abuse and to enforce our community rules, under an identifier that no longer resolves to an account.
- Technical backups: deleted records disappear from routine disaster-recovery backups within 30 days at the latest.
- Product analytics: aggregate usage statistics that are not linked to your identity may be retained.
